Spring Conference 2008

Dear Geoff McLean,

On behalf of the Victoria Police Department, K-9 Unit, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support of the Canadian Police Canine Association Spring Seminar, held May 7-11, 2008.

Your contribution greatly assisted the Victoria Police Department in hosting 55 police and correction K-9 teams from agencies across Canada. This seminar brought together general duty patrol dogs as well as numerous single profile dogs that specialize in drug detection and explosive detection.

Your support also allowed the Victoria Police Department to assemble a group of international experts to provide exceptional training and advice to the participating handlers. Well trained canine sections are significant contributors to the safety of your communities.

Once again I would like to personally thank you on behalf of the Victoria Police Department; the VicPD K-9 Unit and the Canadian Police Canine Association for your contribution to this very successful training seminar.
